小口徑方管用作煉鋼吹氧用管，冶煉吹氧用鋼管一般用焊接鋼管，規(guī)格由3/8寸-2寸八種。用或Q195-Q235鋼帶制成。為防蝕，有的進行滲鋁處理。是在S系列產(chǎn)品基礎(chǔ)上研制而成，天津吹氧管，結(jié)合了當前電弧爐煉鋼的實際需要，耐火度高、消耗量少、操作方便等特點。電弧爐煉鋼中輸送氧氣或其它氣體，在電弧爐內(nèi)熔化并精煉鋼鐵。

In electric arc furnace steelmaking, oxygen or other gases are transported to melt and refine steel in the electric arc furnace. 小口徑方管冶煉吹氧用鋼管按焊接方法不同可分為電弧方管、高頻或低頻電阻方管。電焊鋼管用于石油鉆采和機械制造業(yè)等，可用作水煤氣管等，大口徑直縫方管用于高壓油氣輸送。吹氧管廠家生產(chǎn)的擴口吹氧管，強度一般比直縫方管高，能用較窄的坯料生產(chǎn)管徑較大的方管，還可以用同樣寬度的坯料生產(chǎn)管徑不同的方管。但是與相同長度的直縫管相比，焊縫長度增加30~100%，而且生產(chǎn)速度較低。因此，較小口徑的方管大都采用小口徑方管，大口徑方管則大多采用螺旋焊。
